PACKS delivered to PARLIAMENT help change policy

30 MPs received The Stations packs on the morning of 25th April 2016.

The Dubs Amendment went to Commons on 25th of April, and was debating for 2+ hours, it was narrowly voted down. An amended version of the amendment was sent back by the House of Lords (it removed the 3,000 number requirement). Because of the pressure from ministers the Government said they wouldn’t oppose this amendment and on the 9th of May went through Commons unopposed. It was made law on the 12th May.
